Substance Abuse Professional Course

 The Department of Transportation regulation – 49 CFR Part 40 – requires Substance Abuse Professionals to successfully complete training and an examination.This SAP course is designed to provide new applicants who wish to practice as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) with an in-depth understanding of the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) expanded and revised drug use and alcohol misuse prevention rules for the commercial transportation industries.  When you complete a Qualification SAP Training, you then must pass a SAP Exam. Then you are qualified. After you are qualified you will need 12 continuing education hours during each 3-year period after the date of your  SAP exam. It can be at any time during the 3 years. The examination alone can be accessed on-line for $175.00.

 4  Ways to take the Course 

1. Independent study: Purchase the book and take the examination $ 200 book $ 85 exam

2. Online- Purchase the course and exam online $250.00

3. Classroom- Register fora class at our training site .$300.00 ( 6 student minimal) 

4. CME onsite "as is required by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)," $200
